The H1 Sporter ships in three caliber configurations selectable from the variant dropdown above: .22 S/L/LR (the standard plinker, trainer, and small-game close-range option), .17 HMR (flat-shooting varmint and small-game reach to 200 yards), and .22 WMR (.22 Magnum energy for extended small-game work). All three share the same 18.5-inch round blued steel barrel, the same checkered American walnut Monte Carlo stock, the same 1/2 x 28 threaded muzzle, and the same Picatinny rail. Two operational notes worth knowing up front: the H1 Sporter ships with no iron sights, so plan to budget for an optic and Picatinny rings before your first range day. And the tube-fed magazine loads through the brass follower at the muzzle, not a side gate or a removable mag, which means slower reloads than a detachable-mag rifle but the simpler manual of arms that lever-action shooters tend to prefer.

Configuration and Compatibility

The H1 Sporter ships with a factory-threaded 1/2 x 28 muzzle, an integrated Picatinny rail on the receiver cover, an American walnut Monte Carlo stock, and the H001-series tube magazine sized for the chambered caliber. Here is what it fits and accepts:

• Suppressors: Any 1/2 x 28 rimfire suppressor with an outside diameter of 1 inch or less mounts directly via the threaded muzzle. 2A Daddy's in-house pairing is the 2AD Plinky .22 Suppressor at 0.995 inch OD (within Henry's stated clearance), monolithic NovaNap construction, full-auto rated on .22 LR, and rated for .22 WMR and .17 HMR. Verify your suppressor's mounting interface and shoulder requirements before purchase.
• Optics: The integrated Picatinny rail accepts any standard 1-inch or 30 mm scope ring set, any micro red dot on a Picatinny base, and any prism optic with Picatinny mounting. 2AD's CHPWS catalog offers four optic candidates for the H1 Sporter: EDC compact red dot (close-range .22 LR), COMP general-purpose red dot, COMP Max LPVO (small game and varmint), and HNT-R Max hunting optic (.17 HMR varmint work). • Slings: The H1 Sporter does not ship with sling swivel studs installed from the factory. Aftermarket sling swivels can be installed if you intend to carry the rifle afield. Consult Henry's owner's manual for the stud locations approved on the walnut stock.
• Magazines: Tube-fed, factory-permanent magazine sized for the chambered caliber. The .22 S/L/LR variant holds 15 Long Rifle / 17 Long / 21 Short cartridges; the .17 HMR holds 12; the .22 WMR holds 12. NOT compatible with detachable-magazine accessories; Henry does not offer a detachable-mag conversion for the H1 Sporter.
• Ammunition: Standard-velocity, high-velocity, and most subsonic .22 LR loads in the .22 S/L/LR variant; standard .17 HMR factory loads (17-grain V-Max class) in the .17 HMR variant; standard .22 WMR factory loads (40-grain JHP class) in the .22 WMR variant. Subsonic .22 LR is the quietest with a suppressor; supersonic .22 WMR and .17 HMR will still produce a bullet crack when suppressed.
