HOW TO PURCHASE A SUPPRESSOR
STEP 1
Add the 2A Daddy Nap Time Suppressor to Your Cart
Add it to your cart and complete the checkout process.
See Dealer Selection in the next step to complete checkout. This is important!
STEP 2
Dealer Selection
During checkout, you’ll select a dealer to facilitate the transfer of your suppressor. You
can choose a dealer in your area, or we’ll work with you to find one that is Powered By
Silencer Shop, making the next steps more convenient.
Why Choose a Powered By Silencer Shop Dealer? These dealers have access to Silencer Shop
kiosks, simplifying the paperwork process for you with fingerprinting and photo submissions
handled on-site.
STEP 3
Complete Your ATF eForms
Once your dealer is selected, it’s time to tackle the ATF eForm 4 process. Don’t worry—we’ve
got this covered.
Fingerprinting and Photos: If your selected dealer has a Silencer Shop kiosk, you can handle
this in-store. If not, we’ll provide instructions on how to complete your fingerprinting and
photo requirements.
Trust or Individual Filing: Decide whether to file as an individual, trust, or legal entity.
Filing as a trust is a popular option for adding multiple owners, but we’ll guide you
through whichever option you choose.
Submit Your Application: With Silencer Shop’s software, submitting your eForms is quick and
seamless. Once submitted, your application is sent to the ATF for approval.
STEP 4
ATF Approval
Now comes the waiting game—but here’s some good news: ATF wait times have dramatically
improved!
Fingerprinting and Photos: If your selected dealer has a Silencer Shop kiosk, you can handle
this in-store. If not, we’ll provide instructions on how to complete your fingerprinting and
photo requirements.
While approvals used to take up to 9 months, many applications are now being approved in
less than 30 days, with some even clearing within a week.
We’ll keep you updated throughout the process, and once approved, the dealer will notify you
that your suppressor is ready for pickup.
STEP 5
Pickup Your Suppressor
When the ATF approval comes through, it’s time to pick up your 2A Daddy Nap Time suppressor
from the dealer.
Make sure to bring any required documentation and identification. From there, you’re ready
to enjoy your new suppressor.
